  1. My own opinion on this topic is FCM students are lazy to visit museums and art galleries.Nowadays,we can still view artworks from countries we choose just by a click in front of a computer. It is so convenient and people like us,the new generation of teens would rather choose a more faster, fun and interesting way on every aspect such as fast food!!!Mc.D,KFC,Pizza,Burger king etc..Anyway,the first thing that come in my mind before i went to museums and art galleries are Bored!Dull!Old! Isolated!Oh ya,one more thing!Last semester,we went to National Art Gallery to have an inspiration about out artworks. However, the problem is we cant snap photos of the art pieces. If we surf internet about art works,we can save pictures and we can even gain more detail information of the artist, history and the background of the work.Internet,is it easier for us?what would u choose?

  2. Most of the FCM students are obsessed with the new generation of media, such as: motion pictures, animation, and… any graphics that has motion.
Even if they want to look at some painting, they only have to get to Google, type in the name of the painting, then click ’search’, and there will be millions of results appear on the computer screen.
Moreover, most of them only know about those famous artist from the overseas countries, such as: Van Gogh, Da Vinci. I’m sure that only 2% of the FCM student will notice the existence of the artists from our country, or maybe 0%.
One main reason is that, their lecturers never introduce any local artist to them, most of the time the lecturers were talking about van Gogh… Da Vinci, that’s why. Besides that, even if we know about their (the local artists) existence, the next thing we’ll think of is that: “never mind, their paintings are obviously the same, it’s always about the Malaysia’s Culture, nothing new…” or “we have seen them (Malaysia Cultural arts) before, and it’s too boring to look at the same thing over and over again, throughout the whole museum”, then they’ll take their mind off that subject, and forget about going to the museum and the art galleries.
However, the artists from overseas always have new ideas and point of views about every subject and can produce outstanding paintings.
